Hit or not to Hit

A journey to the depth of body punishment. Adults are protected from beating by the law. Children are not. This situation in Czech Republic is different from the conditions in most of European countries. This documentary offers an insight into authentic situations and family relationships, in which the motivation for children beating is created. The film explores in detail the context of such acts and motives, which are often unconscius and denied - for example the pleasure from being superior and stronger or sadomasochistic pleasure of one or even both sides.
