Synopsis
King by the Grace of God – Spirituality of Charles IV captures the spiritual background of “the greatest Czech”, King Charles IV, a knight raised in a French royal court, familiar with the legend of the Holy Grail. In response to the forthcoming apocalypse, Charles IV modeled Prague's New Town as the New Jerusalem. With his visions rooted in Christian values, he was able to build a large European empire and make the Czech lands a spiritual center of Europe.
