Bye, My Dearest

Gienia and Sabina met during the war when as teenage orphans they were transported to Germany to do forced labor. After the war, they came back to Poland together but soon they parted: Gienia lived in Łódź, Sabina made her dream come true – together with her husband she emigrated to the USA. In 1964 they started writing letters to each other.
