Seeking Tisse

The hero of this film - cinematographer Eduard Tisse and his films belong to the great classics of world history. University students study his creativity and take an in-depth look at the artistic techniques that he used. And yet perhaps Tisse’s story is a story about oblivion. Is it possible, as is mentioned in this film in surprisingly candid interview with Tisse’s widow Bianca, that Tisse's name should be written not just closely alongside Eisenstein, but sometimes a step ahead of him?
