Synopsis
In 1983, romanian artist Daniel Spoerri buries the leftovers from a Parisian feast of a hundred people, in the suburbs of the city. In 2016, when archaeologists update this work, I start a journey following the trace of the artist’s memory, his native city which is also where I spent my childhood. Trying to understand Spoerri’s artistic gestures, I dive in my country’s memory. A feast like a challenge to death, an oath to life and its simplicity.
