Chaplin was his apprentice, he was 1st international movie star, rich and adored. Then suddenly Max Linder ended his life side by side with his adored wife. Why?

The only noticeable monument named after him is a beautiful cinema in the center of Paris on 24 Boulevard Poissonnière called Max Linder Panorama. But if we ask any of the people attending that cinema where the name comes from, almost no one would be able to answer correctly.
