I Remember

Film I Remember explores space and confronts it with the narrative of author’s intimate memory of the moment when the war began. The space as the visual background is a family house, a typical Bosnian house in Sarajevo, and a couple of Sarajevo streets important for the very memory. The space has no direct connection to the narrator’s monologue confronted with the images of the spaces where the memories were born: the moments, which mark end of childhood and beginning of war. The time flows between the past, present and the future, while the perspective of the narrative part is entirely submerged in present while the visual part is more timeless.
