The Referendum

Iborfia, Hungary’s smallest village, lacks bustle, youth, and prospects. Mr. Móricz has lived here all his life. He is among the ten adults in the village who can vote in the national referendum on allowing refugees to stay in Hungary. In this poetic documentary, big issues are analyzed on a microscopic level; Hungary’s smallest village exemplifies the fears, hopes and desperation of an entire country.
