The Identity Dilemma

The theatre writer and director, Sabrina Morena, stages a play representing Pavla Hočevar, Marica Nadlišek Bartol, Elody Oblath, Giuseppina Martinuzzi and Alice Schalek, based on their diaries, letters and testimonies. Archives, animations, acting and interviews tell the stories of those women who were living in the borderland of the lively and multicultural Trieste, when the fall of the Hapsburg Empire forced them to choose for their own Identity.
