Synopsis
Transnistria is a strip of land of 4600 m2 east of the river Dnistr in Moldova and the border with Ukraine. The country is not recognized by the United Nations but has its own military, police, currency and parliament.
Good Morning Transnistria is a portrait of the country through the life of Oxana, a school teacher who dreams of visiting Norway, and Victor, a tombstone dealer, regime opponent and romantic philosopher. Through their lives, we come close to an isolated corner of earth, with its unique human charm and social flavour.
