Synopsis
A story about things in life you normally don´t do, about freedom, about joy of the unknown - a story that points towards the opportunity of different life. In 2009, Nowhere Train went on a train journey through Austria - five musicians, two filmmakers and a writer. They stopped at exceptional places, did exceptional shows and had exceptional adventures. The result is a film portrait of a very special tour showing the journey, the concerts and the people they met on the road. “None of us even had a rough idea of what exactly we wanted to do on this “Nowhere Train”. We only knew that we would hit the road that the musicians would make music that I would write about what we encountered on the way and that Peter and Clemens would make a movie. Everything else was pleasantly unknown.”
