Synopsis
A cinema director walks the ring-road that circles Bucharest, meditating on the nature of narrative: conventional storytelling, with a beginning, middle, and end, is a product of consumer society, a way of parcelling up the world into neat bundles that allow us to decide who has succeeded and who has failed. Firmly convinced that all storytelling is a lie, the director seems to have had some kind of breakdown, with the margins of Bucharest transformed into a kind of metaphorical purgatory.
