Synopsis
Forty days have elapsed since the earthquake in Bam - southeastern Iran at 26th Dec. 2003 - an earthquake that killed over 68,000 people(unofficialy) and destroyed the city and the ancient mud-brick citadel of Bam. The children of the Old Citadel School have finally got back to school in the old citadel but as most buildings have been destroyed, the classs has been set up in the open air. The children have written composition about their own experience of the earthquake one by one are reading them out to the class. But the young girl, Fateme, does not wants to read out her essay...
