A documentary about 100 years long history of the Bulgarian military medics that helped the suffering people at times of war and disaster. Like during the Russian-Japanese war in 1912 also nowadays in the war in Afghanistan and Iraq.
True story of those who have lived the pain, compassion, hope and gratitude of other nations visualized with film and video archive and lot of personal photographs from their missions abroad. The film stresses on the personal experience of the medics, which manifests humanity even in the hardest time of war and disaster.
