Synopsis
Between beautifully shot images of the workers above and below the ground, twenty-two-year-old Davor, who wants to leave the small mining town of Lubnica, but doesn’t have the opportunity, and his father talk openly to the camera about their doubts, pride and fear carrying out the hazardous work. This film explores the metaphor of working in the dark, which provides us with a frame through which to observe life in Serbia today, disappearance of hope and belief in changes, and the resignation with which people are approaching the new reality.
