Synopsis
Film recounts stories of couples who travelled to clinics offering assisted reproduction in foreign countries in hopes of achieving pregnancy. Camera rapidly shifts from filming people and their stories to images of foreign lands and their cultures. Connects the testimonies of specialists with footage of the complex procedures that are necessary for artificial conception. The creation of a human being unfolds right before us, as if under a microscope. Apart from biological questions, the film puts forth many ethical and philosophical ones as well.
