Synopsis
On the day of 300'anniversary canvas "The return of the prodigal son" by Rembrandt gains a peculiar symbolic sense. The everlasting bible story of a prodigal son coming back to his father is a quite transparent manifestation of the basic conflict of urban existence. Will Petersburg be able to return to its origins, to confess in its sights and to start a new-born life to enjoyment of its residents and visitors?
