Synopsis
Four Polish female prisoners are escorted by a police convoy to the premiere of a play about their lives, which they wrote. On their way to the theater the Authors worry about how the audience will take their tantalizing and often shocking stories. Whether the viewers will understand the message from prison and the Authors’ wisdom, which results from many years of isolation. Meanwhile the director and actors worry if the Authors will endorse their sometimes controversial interpretation of the play. What will be the result of that artistic clash? How will the writing change the prisoners’ lives?
