Rotem

The documentary presents the story of Simcha Ratajzer-Rotem (aka Kazik), a man whose eventful life could serve as a basis for several films. He was a member of the Jewish Combat Organization, one of the last living participants of the Ghetto Uprising, who also fought in the Home Army, Six-Day War and the Yom Kippur War. The film is full of the Second World War memories. Archival materials and photos are accompanied by the protagonist’s long conversation with Marek Edelman.
