Synopsis
The Russian author Victor Schlowski (1893 - 1984) wrote "ZOO or letters not about love" while living in exile in Berlin, from 1922 to 1923. Filmmaker Sallmann uses excerpts from some of these letters for his complex video composition on a split-screen, "Briefe nicht über die Liebe," and mixes it with images and sounds of present day Berlin.
