Synopsis
Thirty years ago the Laps of Russia lived under the Soviet rule. Even though the society had limited resources, the Laps lived well. Today foreign companies gather to exploit the natural resources in Russian Lapland. Yet, the Laps are poorer than ever. Young journalist Kirill Gaurilov returns to his home town full of hope, equipped with the best western education. He dreams of contributing to the restoration of the dignity of his people. But he realizes that those who have sold their souls do not appreciate the truth.
