Synopsis
Top of the hill. Little wooden house placed under old chestnut trees. Strong light is pouring trough windows, lighting room and persons in it. The interaction between persons is strong, the tension is growing and reaches its peak. No control, the power is overwhelming. Fear. The doors still opened, one person leaves the room in panic and runs down the hill. That was the first shamanic theatre, still in cocoon, still a try, uncontroled.
This documentary film is remembering the first beginnings of shamanic ritual later called Shamanic Theatre which took place near Graz, Styria and was initiated by Dr. Sylvia Marianne Wohlfarter. After the opening part of the documentary we enter right in the present moment to see how the method has been modified, developed and advanced.
