Synopsis
A touching family portrait spanning 11 years, packed full with situations and internal monologues. Kati and Győző are both blind and have decided to have a child together. Ferike is perfectly healthy. Ferike is four years old when he realizes that his parents cannot see. By the time he is ten, he is already starting to think about how best to care for his unseeing mother and father. His is literally his parents’ eyes, but the unusual interdependency is not without its problems. They often take day trips to Budapest, where they visit museums and the zoo with Ferike as their guide, leading his father by the hand. Kati has entered a nationwide talent contest and got to the finals, with Ferike beside her. His childhood is not a typical one, his life is far from the usual, the very special circumstances of his birth and his unique approach to life make his story quite extraordinary.
