Synopsis
A cultural documentary about foreign music as a bearer of the democratic tendencies and freedom in the Czechoslovak area in the period of 1965 - 1990. A unique and comprehensive view of the cultural and political significance of the visits of western popular and alternative culture personalities who were brought to the former socialist Czechoslovakia. The documentary is accompanied by both archive and contemporary interviews with Manfred Mann, Justin Hayward, Suzi Quatro, Joan Baez or the members of the Rolling Stones. Through the exclusive historical footage significant cultural events are illustrated.
