Olomouc, its rich history and multiple cultural monuments have always attracted writers, artists and also filmmakers. The twenty-minute documentary by young filmmakers Petr Sojka and Jan Weinberg introduces the viewers to the archeological research in the location of Uhelná - Mlýnská in Olomouc, which took place in the autumn of 2005. Richard Zatloukal, research coordinator and archeologist of the National Institute for Historical Monuments in Olomouc, is the film's guide through the city's history. The film offers insights into history of Olomouc as well as into an archeologist's work and presents the follow-up care for the found objects.
