Internal Ear

The film Internal Ear poses questions related to the nature of improvisation. The protagonist of the film is Mikolaj Trzaska - saxophonist, bass clarinet player, harmonica player and composer. His artistic biography, an independent path he has been pursuing in an uncompromising way, is both the starting point of the film and the storyline bonding together multilevel narrative of the documentary.
The film reveals Trzaska’s internal landscape, in particular his inspirations and creative friendships, such as the one with the author Andrzej Stasiuk.
