Synopsis
In a remote northern Montenegro village, eight-year-
old Nikola is the only pupil left in the local elementary
school. His days are filled with the silence of an empty
classroom and thoughtful conversations with his
teacher, while outside, nature whispers its own stories.
Though surrounded by quiet and emptiness, Nikola's
imagination brings to life the sounds of play and laughter
he can no longer hear. Through his eyes, we witness a
quiet struggle to stay connected to knowledge, play
and imagination through animation. The film explores
loneliness, resilience and endurance, portraying Nikola
as a symbol of children who resist being forgotten and
remain beacons of hope. A tribute to the little fighters
who, despite silence around them, bravely preserve their
