Backstage - Are you ready for DANCE?

This series of dancer & choreographer portraits gives the viewer a glimpse behind the stage. Each episode follows a choreographer and his or her dancers during rehearsals for their latest piece. Interviews reveal the intentions of the choreographers and their working process. The dancers themselves reflect on the working process and the pieces as well. And finally the performance on stage is filmed. With its easily accessible approach towards dance, not only aimed at dance connoisseurs, this series intends to generate a broader interest in dance among viewers. Some of the world's newest dance performances of 2005 will thus be introduced.
