Synopsis
Andrei Schimansky, a displaced Russian-German retiree living in Minsk, Belarus, condemns Angela Merkel’s tolerance policy regarding the refugees and yearns for the revival of “his” Germany, which it was before. Andrei has a traumatized personality and thinks he has suffered from the stigma of "fascism" no less than Syrian refugees. However, he is not recognized by Germans, who class him as a “Russian”, a “second class citizen”.
Andrei meets Irina, a beautiful woman of his age, who starts doubting his “German dream”. Will love heal the scars of the past and his “national identity disorder”?
