Synopsis
A parallel drawn between the construction of a sidewalk and the structure of a language. The film’s creator, having grown up in many European countries, comes to the Czech Republic and tries to master the language of her childhood. She infiltrates the world of asphalt workers but deliberately refrains from asking even once why in Czech they say: “to have a potty mouth like an asphalt worker.” The film is both playfully and ingenuously structured, using animation and stylised passages from the space of one's own mind.
