Autumn–Spring

This documentary film is the mirror of tragic fates of Uzbekistan women, of their limited rights and freedom, of their hard life conditions. They often become the victims of home violence, rape and humiliation. However, nobody is willing to hear their voices calling for justice and better treatment. To draw attention to their suffering they often commit suicide by burning themselves. But their attempts are often unsuccessful - they survive, with lifelong effects. Autumn - Spring follows three such women who reveal their pain, telling the stories full of violence and describing the picture of the today's Uzbekistan.
