Sunflowers in the Rain

In 2023, as Ukraine faces the second year of full-scale war, its civilians endure relentless hardships and terrorist attacks. Yet, amid the chaos, many Ukrainians continue to volunteer, collaborate, and create in support of their nation, its people, its army, and its future. "Sunflowers in the Rain" offers an intimate glimpse into the lives of these resilient individuals, from young volunteers risking their lives to evacuate civilians from frontline cities, to artists transforming into drone engineers.

Through a series of powerful vignettes, the documentary showcases the inspiring and extraordinary ways ordinary people have adapted to meet the challenges of war, standing tall in defiance of Russian aggression as they fight for Ukraine’s survival.
