Synopsis
Ralf is 12 years old. He was born in Ireland and speaks Latvian, Russian, and English. When asked if he is Latvian or Irish, he answered: "Half and half". Ralf wants to be the best in all he does: in dancing, in boxing, in school and in everything else, but in reply to our question about what is happiness, he started to cry.
Rute is 9, and her mother says that Latvian language for her is just so much background noise. Rute loves to wash her dog and getting her mom to serve Rute breakfast in bed. Rute is a bit lazy and does not want to help her mother with household chores.
"I am īru puika," ("I am an Irish lad") says Maiks, or Buciņš, mixing Latvian and English. He is 9 years old and what he likes about Latvia the most is snow, something he has not yet seen.
