The Last Pupils

Former pupils of a Catholic boarding school look back at their experience and describe life in a microcosm, that is now in the process of disappearing. The multi-media artist André Heller, the cabaret artist and actor Josef Hader, the writer Josef Haslinger, the short story writer and storyteller Michael Köhlmeier, the musician and writer Reinhold Bilgeri, along with other former pupils of this school, share their memories with us. What have been the lasting influences of this closed society on their subsequent lives in the large variety of institutions, which experiences do they now regard as significant, what fears and punishments do they still vividly recall?
