Synopsis
Serenissima is a documentary impression showing the life and death in Venice with its natural phenomenon and cultural inheritance. Without using spoken language, Serenissima tells the story of the city's atmosphere through images. The only storyline is the soundtrack - adagietto from Mahler's 5th symphony. The tune plays the role of a quote and homage to great works of literature and cinema inspired by this marvelous city.
