Estonian Film Institute

The Estonian Film Institute (EFI) is responsible for supporting professional Estonian film production and promoting Estonian film culture. It operates under the auspices of the Estonian Ministry of Culture and its budget for 2014 is EUR 7,6 million, which is mainly used to finance features, shorts, animation, and documentaries (EUR 6300 000). Estonian Film Institute represents Estonia at international film festivals, markets and organisations. International productions are supported only with Estonian co-producer on board.
