Ana films was founded in 1993 by two directors, Gautier Gumpper and Jean-Marie Fawer. We mainly produce documentary films and have around fifty films in our catalog, co-produced with channels such as Arte/ZDF, France 3 Alsace, Alsace 20, Mosaïk, Vosges Télévision, KTO, France Ô, etc.
Our documentaries are mainly films with social or historical themes. However, our editorial line remains open and takes shape through our encounters with the directors.
One of the characteristics of our company is its commitment to directors. The support - often offered to first works - is seen as an exhilarating challenge. Jean-Marie and Gautier's experience as directors allows them to take an inside look and follow all stages of the projects.
