Baxt Films

Baxt Films is a new Budapest based film production company founded in 2013, that creates media products to promote a positive perception of Romani ethnic identity and culture. Baxt combats anti- Roma prejudice through the production of documentary, feature and short films as well as international multi-media campaigns. Senior producers Katalin Bársony and Elemér Sánta already possessing substantial experiences in documentary filmmaking joined by junior producer Orsolya Fenyvesi are working together with market leading professionals and cutting-edge technologies to create films such as the upcoming “Auschwitz Requiem”, “3 Brothers”, and one of the company’s main project in development, “Jazz Way Out”.
