Air Productions

Air Productions is a female-led film production studio based in Latvia, which combines creative and production skills and creates content for children and youth, female-centered stories, and stories with social impact. In 2019, the founder of the company, producer-screenwriter Līga Gaisa, was joined by the established producer Antra Gaile. The studio’s latest titles include animation shorts by Kārlis Vītols, The Swan Maiden (2020, Best Animation Film Artist at the Latvian National Film Award) and Minotaur (2018, Best Animation Film at the Latvian National Film Award) and the feature documentaries by Elita Kļaviņa, Sisters in Longing (2022, Trieste FF, FIPADOC 2023) and Zoryana Horobraya (2019, IFF Message to Man, Special Mention, Best Student Film at the Latvian National Film Award).
