Sakdoc Film

Sakdoc Film is a documentary film production company in Tbilisi, Georgia, founded in 2008 and run by Anna Dziapshipa and Salomé Jashi. Sakdoc Film produces creative documentaries often stepping into coproduction. Its productions include Bakhmaro |2011| in co-production with German ma.ja.de. filmproduktion and MDR/Arte, Double Aliens |2015| in co-production with Latvia’s VFS Films which premiered at IDFA and The Dazzling Light of Sunset |2016| which received Robert Bosch coproduction prize and premiered at Visions du Réel |2016|. Apart from film production Sakdoc Film also acts as a film organisation. It has been running Pitch.Doc, a project forum now held during CinéDoc – Tbilisi International Documentary Film Festival.
