Doclisboa is a festival dedicated to documentary and to the new possible paths that are being opened for the genre. We are particularly interested on the new modes of relation between the cinematographic and the real, and we are looking for proposals that suppose an implication on the world, facing cinema as a political and artistic practice. All the screenings are followed by a debate with the audience, directors, producers, and film critics. The Festival includes two competitive sections: 1. International Competition: short films (up to 59min) and feature films (over 60 min); 2. National Competition: short films (up to 59min) and feature films (over 60 min).
