Kosovo 2.0

Kosovo 2.0 was founded in March 2010. In July of that year, Kosovo Glocal launched its online platform, Kosovo 2.0, www.kosovotwopointzero.com. A year later, July 2011, Kosovo 2.0 commenced with its biannual themed print magazine. Kosovo 2.0 operates in Albania, Serbian and English.Kosovo 2.0 is a web-platform, a print magazine and a grass-roots activity organizer aiming at giving a voice to the country's silenced, disenfranchised majority: young people. We combine traditional and new media to create a self-sustaining platform for Kosovo’s youth to become informed and active participants of their communities and society. Kosovo 2.0 sees itself as an independent voice for the voiceless, as we are working to build a critical mass that empowers a new generation to reshape the media landscape and have their voice matter.
