LET'S CEE

Since its founding in 2011, the LET’S CEE Association’s mission is to advance and promote Central and Eastern European films in Austria and abroad. During the six editions of LET’S CEE Film Festival (2012-2018), a total of 610 films were presented to over 76,000 visitors; more than 600 predominantly international festival guests were invited, and over 1,000 film screenings and hundreds of other events were organised. Forced to a break by the lack of needed support from the City of Vienna since 2019, the LET’S CEE organiser intensified her activities in the field of film literacy for children and youth, successfully combining years of experience in developing the LET’S CEE School Cinema (2012-2018), the EU Youth Cinema (2019-2022) and the EU Youth Cinema: Green Deal (since 2022).
