The KEKIM was founded by young social scientists, documentary filmmakers, photographers and experst of visuality at the University of Miskolc Institute of Cultural and Visual Anthropology in 2003. It's an independent organisation with the aim of producing documentaries and promoting them both in Hungary and worldwide. Our members have participated at several festivals and won quite a few prizes. As a producing company our largest international success is István Nagy's recent documentary 'Hard Lines'. For years now, the association has cooperative relationship with Hungarian film festivals and events, but it also intends to promote international networking.
