KINO ALFA is committed to sensitive and critical cinematic portrayals of social phenomena through personal dramas. In recent years, Kino Alfa has been collaborating with filmmakers on films in various stages of development. Those projects all reflect on socially and psychologically pressing issues of universal relevance specific to the Central-Eastern European region, such as women’s role conflicts, taboos surrounding motherhood, or questions of gender identity.
