The International Documentary Association (IDA) is dedicated to building and serving the needs of a thriving documentary culture. Through its programs, the IDA provides resources, creates community, and defends rights and freedoms for documentary artists, activists, and journalists.

Fischal Sponsorship
For almost 30 years IDA's fiscal sponsorship program has been helping independent documentary projects of all types get funded, finished and seen.

Pare Lorentz Documentary Fund
The Pare Lorentz Documentary Fund supports full-length documentary films that reflect the spirit and nature of legendary documentary filmmaker Pare Lorentz's work.

IDA Enterprise Documentary Fund
The IDA Enterprise Documentary Fund provides production and development funds to feature-length documentary films taking on in-depth explorations of original, contemporary stories and integrating journalistic practice into the filmmaking process.

Distribber Distribution Grant
The Distribber Distribution Grant seeks to empower four filmmakers per year to take control of their releases and directly distribute their content onto major platforms like iTunes, Google Play, and Netflix worldwide while retaining 100% of their rights and revenue.
