Presented by the association SineNouvèl, the Nouvelles Vues Haiti Festival is an international film festival taking place in Haiti. The second edition will be held from May 21 to 27, 2018.
The Nouvelles Vues Haiti Festival is an integral player in the fight for the survival and enhancement of the 7th art in Haiti.
It aims to promote cinematographic creation and intercultural exchanges, to create a space for exchange, sharing and meeting between filmmakers from here and all over the world.
Through its numerous events, the Nouvelles Vues Haiti Festival aims to raise awareness among the public and the authorities concerned about the need for functional movie theaters and to make demands for a cultural policy integrating the audiovisual professions. This is why screening sessions are done on the facades of old buildings of cinema and show like Rex and Triomphe.
In its mission to contribute to the emergence of a film industry in the country, the Festival encourages and shines a spotlight on emerging filmmakers.
Inevitable place of exchange , the Nouvelles Vues Haiti Festival is a week of film screening, workshop, kino-Lab, Conference-debate, round table, meeting, exhibition etc.
For its 2nd edition the Festival is launching a call for films for its official selection!
