With offices in Hungary and Uruguay, Librecine specializes in documentary and television productions for the international market (ARTE, ZDF, Chello Multicanal, Odisea, Mezzo, Arts Channel Australia).
Librecine participated at the 2004 DCM with the documentary Stalin City Cantata. We developed and were associate producers of the 2008 FIPA D’Or Prix winner “A Different Way: Tango with Rodolfo Mederos”. Our latest production, “El destello” was in official competition in 2011 at Visions du Réel, BAFICI and É Tudo Verdade. We are currently in post-production with Adagio, a film about the legacy of Uruguay’s military dictatorship, and financing The Ways of the Wind, a feature documentary following six children in the most remote areas of South-America.
