Los Sueños de la Hormiga Roja is an independent production company of cinema and TV funded in 1996. Social and cultural themes, as well as the European historical memory act as the pivotal axis around which every company's activity turns. And surely we offer a very innovative point of view: the perspective of history's very protagonists, their experiences within great events, their private history, the intrahistory or micro-history.
At this moment the main objective is to shape the documentary into a tool of expression, using new languages and themes, through sound historical research. The use of languages that borders documentary, fiction and animation will create new expressive boundaries for people that are still not into this kind of genre.
