Baltic Sea Docs is an international co-financing pitching forum held in Riga, Latvia, dedicated to documentary projects from the Baltic Sea region, Eastern Europe, and the Caucasus, as well as other countries if the project has a strong connection to the region. The event gathers around 150 film professionals from across Europe and beyond. It features a preparatory workshop, pitching sessions, individual meetings, and a program of seminars, masterclasses, and screenings of recent international documentaries. As the only pitching forum in the Baltics exclusively focused on documentaries, it plays a key role in fostering documentary filmmaking in the region. The forum is organised by the National Film Centre of Latvia. The 30th edition will take place from 6 to 11 September, 2026.
